Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the director of drama and producer in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. The year 1997 was the time she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto for her acting to advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met at an actor'sworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, they got married in 2009. When she converted to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk announced to the fans her good news that she had become pregnant during the filming of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th 2013 that the show was coming back to the production. Season Four began on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple in the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in a large online audience on social media.
